The Historic Owego Marketplace welcomes the return of spring with fun events in May! On May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, Owego's downtown merchants throw open their doors for the spring sidewalk sales. You'll find festive street sales galore and plenty of new merchandise to choose from. Stay in town on May 2nd and join us for Owego's 1st Friday ArtWalk from 5 to 8 PM. Check out the incredible art on display, listen to our finest musicians, visit our shops and enjoy a delicious dinner at one of our many restaurants.

OWEGO ART WALK - Owego holds its "ART WALK" the First Friday of every month from 5-9 pm. Thirteen galleries, art spaces, restaurants and shops showcase more than fifty artists, with refreshments, music, demonstrations and artists on site.

On the 1st Friday of every month, Owego's galleries, boutiques, and restaurants showcase a broad range of artists, musicians, writers, and performers. Enjoy an art-filled night out with friends- come dine at our fabulous eateries, stroll our historic village, and enjoy shopping in our downtown marketplace on the evening of April 4 from 5 to 8 PM!

Owego, already known for being the historic village along the river, the outdoor mall with all the wonderful shops is now giving the public another reason to come shop downtown. Artists Receptions give the public the chance to ask all those questions you have wanted to ask your favorite artists. Whether you are searching for the perfect gift or shopping for a piece of art for your home or office, start your search with us. We will offer you a broad range of artists and talents.

 

Whether you want to treat yourself, that special someone or enjoy a great group of friends on a night out? Head for the village of Owego for a night on the town, have a fabulous dinner in an intimate setting, stroll down the streets of shops and head for the six galleries openings to enjoy the art, the artists, the music and have a night to remember.

 

ANNUAL STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL - Third Friday and Saturday in June. The Festival has grown since 1980 to include about 200 arts and crafts and food vendors, new entertainment, Friday Night Block Party, wine tasting tent, fireworks and more. HOLIDAY SHOWCASE
November 16, 2013 - 9 am-5 pm. Get in the holiday spirit as Owego merchants create a festive downtown with music, Santa, entertainment and special sales and savings throughout the shopping district. A huge variety of gift and home items from over 80 different businesses. 


lights in trees2LIGHTS ON THE RIVER FESTIVALFirst Friday in December - 5:30-9:00 p.m. Come see the lights downtown through the first week in January. The Downtown Owego streets come alive with lights and holiday decorations! Music and entertainment throughout the downtown area. Feel the real old-fashioned spirit of Christmas as stores and restaurants offer special gifts and music to delight the shoppers. Fireworks finale - the best!
