ART WALK ART TALK - This Spring beginning May 16th,  Owego will launch its "ART WALK ART TALK" the third Friday of every month from 5-9 pm.  Five galleries and a coffee house will be showcasing more than fifty artists, with refreshments, music, demonstrations and artists on site.

Owego, already known for being the historic village along the river, the outdoor mall with all the wonderful shops is now giving the public another reason to come shop downtown.  Artists Receptions will give the public the chance to ask all those questions you have wanted to ask your favorite artists.  Whether you are searching for the perfect gift or shopping for a piece of art for your home or office, start your search with us.  We will offer you a broad range of artists and talents.

More than TEN of our wonderful restaurants in the village will offer Opening Night Specials with some after hours events with the artists.

Whether you want to treat yourself, that special someone or enjoy a great group of friends on a night out?  Head for the village of Owego for a night on the town, have a fabulous dinner in an intimate setting, stroll down the streets of shops and head for the six galleries openings to enjoy the art, the artists, the music and have a night to remember.

HOLIDAY SHOWCASE –  November 15, 2008. Get in the holiday spirit as Owego merchants create a festive downtown with music, entertainment and special sales and savings throughout the shopping district. A huge variety of gift and home items from over 80 different businesses.

LIGHTS ON THE RIVER FEST– December 5, 2008.  Come see the lights through January 6, 2009. The Downtown Owego streets come alive with lights and holiday decorations! Music and entertainment throughout the downtown area. Feel the real old-fashioned spirit of Christmas as stores and restaurants offer special gifts and music to delight the shoppers.
