OWEGO ART WALK - Owego holds its "ART WALK" the third Friday of every month from 5-9 pm.  Thirteen galleries, art spaces, restaurants and shops showcase more than fifty artists, with refreshments, music, demonstrations and artists on site.

Owego, already known for being the historic village along the river, the outdoor mall with all the wonderful shops is now giving the public another reason to come shop downtown.  Artists Receptions give the public the chance to ask all those questions you have wanted to ask your favorite artists.  Whether you are searching for the perfect gift or shopping for a piece of art for your home or office, start your search with us.  We will offer you a broad range of artists and talents.

Whether you want to treat yourself, that special someone or enjoy a great group of friends on a night out?  Head for the village of Owego for a night on the town, have a fabulous dinner in an intimate setting, stroll down the streets of shops and head for the six galleries openings to enjoy the art, the artists, the music and have a night to remember. 

RIVERWALK ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL- A new event that will highlight our new Riverwalk and is scheduled for Saturday, May 29, 2010 from 9 am-4 pm, where artisans, artists and crafters will display and sell their artistic treasures. Click here for the vendor application for festivals.

ANNUAL STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL - Third Friday and Saturday in June. The Festival how grown since 1980 to include about 200 arts and crafts and food vendors, new entertainment, Friday Night Block Party, wine tasting tent, fireworks and more.  It's our 30th Year and we're celebrating big time!  More information available at the Owego Strawberry Festival Website

AUTUMN HARVEST FESTIVAL - This is our second annual Harvest Festival, scheduled for Saturday September 04, 2010.  Locations will be focused on either end of the new Riverwalk at Draper and Ahwaga Parks.  Vendors will offer homemade, handmade and local products for sale.  Entertainment, food, and lots of goodies!  Click here for the vendor application for festivals.

HOLIDAY SHOWCASE –  Second Saturday in November - 10 am-5 pm. Get in the holiday spirit as Owego merchants create a festive downtown with music, Santa, entertainment and special sales and savings throughout the shopping district. A huge variety of gift and home items from over 80 different businesses. 

LIGHTS ON THE RIVER FEST– First Friday in December - 5:30-9:00 p.m.  Come see the lights downtown through the first week in January. The Downtown Owego streets come alive with lights and holiday decorations! Music and entertainment throughout the downtown area. Feel the real old-fashioned spirit of Christmas as stores and restaurants offer special gifts and music to delight the shoppers. Fireworks finale - the best!
